Lihuʻe Court Townhomes

Conveniently located in Lihuʻe, the largest town on Kauaʻi, Lihuʻe Court Townhomes allows residents to take advantage of the resources and employment opportunities of an urban center while enjoying easy access to the beautiful natural environment of the island’s southern coast.

The project provides one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments with a total of 173 units on property. The twenty-one buildings are undergoing major exterior renovations.

Residents of Lihuʻe Court Townhomes in Lihuʻe, Kauaʻi, can take advantage of a broad range of supportive programs to develop their skills, help educate their children, maintain their health, achieve financial stability, and nurture healthy relationships with their family members and neighbors.

Resident Services Programs

  • Residents are invited to gather weekly for Family Night at the Community Learning Center, where they can enjoy dinner, movie, and games.
  • A bi-monthly Community Clean Up involves both youth and adults in maintaining the appearance of Lihuʻe Court’s common spaces.
  • A monthly Food Bank Distribution for Lihuʻe Court residents and the surrounding community includes presentations by local vendors about health issues, access to medical care, and other available local social services.
  • A monthly Senior Bingo event incorporates quarterly presentations by local service providers focusing on the interests and needs of our kūpuna.

Lihuʻe Court is especially concerned to give its younger residents the chance to develop into productive, responsible members of their community.

  • The Koa Keiki Head Start program on site supports the development and education of children in the 3-4 year age range. Kauaʻi Head Start is run by Child and Family Services, and Koa Keiki comprises a full day schedule at a 20-child capacity.
  • The Boys & Girls Club operates an after-school program at Lihuʻe Court’s Computer Learning Center, offering computer facilities, help with homework, and outdoor activities for children between the ages of 7 and 17.

Lihuʻe Court is also committed to caring for our fragile island environment and has established a number of sustainability initiatives.

  • Residents cultivate a variety of vegetables and flowers in the Community Garden.
  • In partnership with Kauaʻi Island Utility Cooperative, Lihuʻe Court Townhomes has initiated an energy-saving light-bulb exchange for all of our resident households.
  • Lihuʻe Court is placing photovoltaic panels on two of its buildings to reduce energy costs.
  • The property provides residents with regular reminders on the upkeep and care of household appliances with the aim of conserving energy and involves residents in its ongoing recycling efforts.
